Bhavya Ashok Thacker

Hi, I'm Bhavya. (Also: I'm BATMAN.) This is the stuff I care about that didn't make it onto my CV.

I grew up in western Gujarat, next to the Rann of Kutch, where flamingos show up every year to breed (they're having the time of their lives, man), and where the moon and stars make the salt marsh glow. But then life happened, I graduated with a Master's in Physics, and now I work as a Research Associate. That side of me lives here.

Off the clock, I play and follow far too many sports: football, squash, swimming, running, and climbing. The full list lives on the sports page.

I'm trying to build a reading habit and work my way through classic and absolutely terrible films. I've recently started logging them on Letterboxd. I listen to country, pop, rock, blues, jazz, and, of course, Bollywood. I also speak a bit of Italian and Marathi. So parlare anche italiano. Gautami Patil ek number diste! Sì, sì.

I love hiking and almost anything adventurous. I keep a list of peaks I'd like to climb here. I also have a YouTube channel. Have a look.
